Opening Friday, September 4th in the Gallery.
Every year Waterloo Arts partners with the DayGlo Color Corp and 30+ artists to create a luminescent art exhibit like no other in Cleveland! Follow this link to get a free ticket for the show!
Waterloo Arts gallery has been dark since shutting down last spring due to Covid-19 and we are thrilled to be opening back up on September 4th for the 8th Annual DayGlo Exhibit! The gallery will still be dark but we welcome you in to see the glowing artwork. This is a delightful exhibit for all ages so bring the family or meet friends for a socially distanced outing and enjoy some time away from home. We could all use a little delight in our lives these days!
DayGlo pigments have a fascinating origin story that involves both science and magic. For this year’s show we’ve invited over 30 artists to make work that celebrates the Magic of DayGlo and this year’s exhibit also stretches beyond the borders of Cleveland to include a few select artists from around the world.
To create a safe environment to visit the gallery during Covid-19, we are limiting the number of people in the gallery at any one time. Please sign up for a free ticket to reserve a spot. We will allow walk up visits during open hours if space is available. Please wait outside the gallery until a gallery attendant lets you in. Masks are required in the gallery and while waiting in line. We also ask that you stay 6 ft from anyone who is not in your household. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you!
This year, Waterloo Arts teamed up with Anthony Zart and Rocket E3 to provide exclusive thank you gifts commemorating the 2020 DayGlo show, when you donate to Waterloo Arts. Adding a donation onto your ticket today will help ensure community arts continue to thrive in the wake of COVID-19. Proceeds from your donation will go directly to fund Waterloo Arts’ programming. We truly appreciate your support during this difficult time. Donations can be made when ordering tickets for the show.
