Please join us for the Waterloo Arts Fest Juried Exhibition. This is the second annual national juried exhibition and the inaugural year combining the Waterloo Arts Festival Members Exhibition and the National Juried Exhibition. A total of 231 pieces were submitted from 113 artists. On average, one of every three artists had work accepted into the show with the juror, accepting 35 final pieces from 33 different artist. Theresa Bembnister, Associate Curator, Akron Art Musuem was the juror. Theresa Bembnister received her M.A. in art history and museum studies from Case Western Reserve University and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute. Her writing has appeared in Cleveland’s Scene, Kansas City’s Pitch, the Kansas City Star, Glasstire.com and Arthopper.org.
