Remembering the Sights and Sounds of Euclid Beach Park

Euclid Beach Park Now, Ohio Department of Natural Resources / Cleveland Lakefront, and the Euclid Beach Boys presents the sixth annual Remembering the Sights and Sounds of Euclid Beach Park, Sunday, September 26, 2010. The amusement park will come alive again for one day only, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rain or Shine. The event will be held at Euclid Beach State Park, Cleveland, Ohio site of the old amusement park on Lakeshore Boulevard.

Ttake you on a trip down memory lane—back to when the current park area was part of an amusement park. The event this year celebrate the 100th anniversary of the carrousel. Take a walking tour to see where rides and attractions once were, ride on the Thriller & Rocketship Car—part of what was once one of the north coast’s memorable rides, memorabilia displays, purchase a Humphrey popcorn ball or candy kiss, Arts Collinwood will have kids fun activities, and more!
