YouTube recording of artist talk
Join us at Waterloo Arts (15605 Waterloo Road) at 1pm on Sunday, April 3rd for a sand casting and aluminum pour demonstration by Hannah Bates. Following the demonstration, we will move to the gallery where Hannah will speak about her studio practice and current exhibition, Among. For those who cannot attend in person, the gallery talk will be streamed on Instagram live (@waterlooarts) at 1:45pm and a recording will be made available on YouTube.
The aluminum pour will take place outdoors in the gravel parking lot behind the Waterloo Arts building, accessible by E. 156th Street. Visitors will be asked to remain a safe 8ft from the furnace during the demonstration. The artist talk will include seating inside the gallery.
