Waterloo Arts presents the work of South African photographer Dale Yudelman, a Cleveland Foundation Creative Fusion
Artist-in-Residence and winner of the Ernest Cole Award – South Africa’s most prestigious prize for social documentary photography. Yudelman’s career spans two eras of South African history and across several continents. Knockin’ on Cleveland’s Door includes impressions gleaned during Yudelman’s explorations of Cleveland as well as prints from his acclaimed series Life under Democracy, a testament of life in South Africa after two decades of democracy. Also in the exhibit are photographs by students Yudelman worked with during his Cleveland residency.
