Zachary Smoker is an artist who utilizes a variety of strategies in creating work including, traditional and non-traditional object making, installation, found object assemblages, video, performance, photography, drawing, and print. Smoker received a BFA in Sculpture from Cleveland Institute of Art and an MFA in Visual Art from Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Art at Washington University in St. Louis and is currently an adjunct professor and technical specialist at The Cleveland Institute of Art. He has created all new work for Miscellany: and some other stuff, which opens in-person at Waterloo Arts Gallery on Friday, February 19 from 6-8 pm. Thereafter the exhibit will be open on Saturdays from 12-2 pm, on Friday, March 5 during the art walk, and by appointment during the weekday.
