Waterloo Arts is excited to inherit the annual DayGlo show previously presented by Doubting Thomas Gallery. During the past three years, the DayGlo Show has challenged artists to explore and experiment with the unusual medium of fluorescent paint, and has garnered a following of devoted fans curious to see the results.
Space is limited, so if you are interested in creating work for this show, please use this form to submit your contact info and samples of your artwork or link to your website.
DayGlo paint will be provided to all selected artist, who will have 2 months to create original artwork for the show using DayGlo paint as one’s primary medium. This show will be advertised in the press and will have an opening event and closing dance party to garner attention for the artists.
*All artists must submit a website that showcases their work and/or jpegs of past work (up to 5 attachments) in order to be considered for the show.
Please be aware of the following timeline before applying to DayGlo IV:
9/18- Submission deadline at Midnight
9/23- Accepted artists will be notified via email
9/26- Paint pick up 12- 4pm
11/21- Artwork drop off 12-4pm
12/4- Opening Reception
1/1- Closing party
1/4- Art pick up 4-7pm on Monday
