2021 Art of the Ornament, Dec. 3rd, 6-9pm: Viewing Party and Auction

During December’s Walk All Over Waterloo, Waterloo Arts will welcome guests into the cafe space to sip cocoa and cider while viewing and bidding on their favorite handmade ornaments in a digital auction! Dozens of local artists have contributed one-of-a-kind ornaments this year to be displayed and auctioned off as part of our end-of-year fundraiser.

How to Participate:

*A link to the auction will be posted here for folks to bid prior to the event. In-person guests will access the digital auction via QR code until 8:30pm on 12/3. All ornament bids will start at $10.
*In-person guests will enter through Waterloo Arts Gallery, where the Holiday Co-Op is up and running! In light of the newest COVID variant, the 2021 Art of the Ornament event will require guests to wear masks, so bring one of your own or take a disposable mask at check-in.
*When the digital auction closes at 8:30pm, Waterloo Arts will thank its contributing artists by raffling off prize packages for those who have donated ornaments. Immediately following, the winning bidders of the ornaments will be announced in-person.

Note: Bidders do not need to attend the event in person to retrieve their winnings! After the auction concludes, winning bidders will receive information by email regarding scheduling a pick-up and/or shipping of their items.

Proceeds from the Art of the Ornament auction help to fund the upcoming year’s programs and exhibitions.

We are grateful to our community for supporting this annual event, and we thank the following donors for contributing to this year’s festivities: Cleveland Museum of Art, Greater Cleveland Science Center, Holden Forests & Gardens, B.A. Sweetie’s Candy Co., Deep Dive Art Projects, and Praxis Fiber Workshop.
