Waterloo Arts had its beginning in a holiday art sale, and by now some of our neighbors depend on it for the year’s most important shopping. We gather jewelry and glass, paintings and textiles, photos and pottery – original, whimsical, up-cycled – and we open the sale weekend with a Sneak Peek for members only (Waterloo Arts membership is – still! – only $10, and you can join at the door). The Peek, catered by the Friends Committee and with William Meyer’s clarinet making everything mellow, is on Thursday, December 4, 5 – 9 pm. Friday hours are 5 – 10; Saturday 11 am – 10 pm; and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm.
