Kick off the holiday season with our final Music for Miles Fall concert. The Metropolitan Brass Quintet will warm the gallery with a program of traditional holiday music, along with Baroque and Renaissance selections.
Tuba virtuoso Gary Adams leads the Quintet, which was established in 1975; its members have all performed with the Cleveland Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, while giving recitals across the United States. Active as educators, these musicians also lead master classes and clinics – and they’ve been with Young Audiences for over twenty years.
Gary has worked with the area’s top orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Opera Orchestra, the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra and the Canton Symphony Orchestra. He is a part of school music programs in Shaker Heights, Mentor and Avon Lake, specializing in low brass performance, and performs as principle tubist of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, and the Metropolitan Brass Quintet as well as an extra with the Cleveland Orchestra.
Concerts are free and open to the public and no reservation is necessary.
