Untitled (Waterloo) looks at the Waterloo Arts café space as a site of potential. As the gallery hosts visual art exhibitions, the café hosts performances, gatherings and pop-ups. Post examines the site in waiting and invites viewers to activate it by being present in an overlapping of time and place facilitated by media and technology.
Gallery Reception: February 7, 6-9pm.
Artist talk in the Waterloo Arts Café at 7:30pm.

Interactive installation, video and photography
2025
Linda Post creates interactive installations and photography that explore the sculptural limits of lens-based media. The work is often site-specific. Current technologies mix with low-tech strategies to respond to the presence of viewers, inviting them to become participant-observers in a choreography of the everyday with renewed attention to the present moment, literally the here and now.
Post has presented solo exhibitions in New York, London, and Turin. Group exhibitions include those at MOMA, PS1, the MET and the Sculpture Center in New York; the Hirshhorn Museum, D.C.; and the Louisiana Museum for Moderne Kunst, Denmark.
She holds a MFA from Bard College and a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art. Post teaches Photography + Video at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Previous teaching appointments include those at SFASU, the University of Houston, the School of Visual Arts, the Maine College of Art, Vermont College of Art, and QUAM, Spain.
Untitled (Waterloo) will be open from February 7 through 28 during regular gallery hours on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12 p.m.-4 p.m., and by appointment on weekdays. To request an appointment, email info@waterlooarts.org or call 216.692.9500.
