Elizabeth Hiser has fifteen years of experience as a Watershed and Stormwater professional and has led a wide range of projects, most significant being a $260,000 Ohio EPA 319 design-build stream and wetland restoration project in Willoughby Hills, Lake County Ohio. Prior to joining the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, Ms. Hiser was an environmental scientist with Tetra Tech where she had 11 years of experience providing technical support on projects for the USEPA’s Total Maximum Daily Load Program and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. She earned her B.S. degree in Water Resources from Heidelberg College. Ms. Hiser leads the Northeast Ohio Master Rain Gardener program and is the proud owner of 3 rain gardens at her home in Westlake. Ms. Hiser is a certified Tree Steward and Watershed Volunteer.
