Pittsburgh’s Most Wanted Fine Art – “Art Car”
Most Wanted Fine Art (MWFA) is a gallery, studio, and performance space located in the Pittsburgh Penn Ave Arts District. Hosting monthly art shows, concerts, poetry readings, and community events – Most Wanted shows the work of the great collective of artists we represent as well as other local, national, and international artists.
Article Gallery will be hosting a live painting event outside during the Waterloo Arts Fest with live painting by artists – Rachel Latina, Matthew Merchant and Melodie Thompson. Larry Fielder and Guerin Wolf will have open studios inside Article. Additional artist demonstrations and hands-on activities throughout the day.
Azure Stained Glass Studio
Come into the studio and let founders, Mary Zodnik and Ben Parsons, show you where their team of craftsmen practice the time-honored tradition of fabricating and restoring, ecclesiastical, commercial, and residential stained glass.
BRICK Ceramic and Design Studio
In the studio, BRICK artists will teach you how to throw on the wheel. The participants can pay $20 to keep their item and BRICK will fire and glaze it for them! Get your photo with a shirtless Patrick Swayze (from the movie Ghost) for a $1 suggested donation to BRICK. Also, check out ‘Kudos’ a celebration of Bill & Judy – Cleveland Arts Prize artists, Bill Brouillard and Judith Salomon, have touched the lives of so many people. Their expertise and craft is exceptional and BRICK is honored to be presenting their functional and sculptural work in the gallery.
Dru Christine Fabrics and Design
“Land of a Thousand Fabrics” with designer, Dru Christine. Featuring: New & unseen fabrics will premiere at The Waterloo Arts Fest! Live Demonstration by Dru Christine at 3pm! And $3 $5 $7 Deals – From the fabric vault!
Maria Neil Art Project
Maria Neil Art Project will be exhibiting the art created by local artists at the SPACES’ Monster Drawing Rally. All of the art is available for sale for only $50 with proceeds supporting SPACES.
Northeast Shores Development Corporation Booth
Local artist, Linda Zolten Wood, will be painting rain barrels during the Fest!
The Phone Gallery
Nationally known, local award winning photographer Stephen Bivens’ solo show “No Voice No Choice” featuring photographs of East Cleveland homes.
Praxis Fiber Workshop
The Praxis Pick-Up Truck will be in the front of the gallery to weave with fest participants.
Cleveland photographer, Frank Lanza, has been diligently photographing the city’s classic music venues over the past month. See a fun collection of live music photos and images of the venues!
ANNUAL MEMBERS’ SHOW – Explore the bronze sculptures, paintings, fiber arts, ceramics, illustrations and other works in this annual juried exhibit of Waterloo Arts member artists. This year’s show was juried by Rob Lehr, Director of Marketing, Canton Art Museum & Gallery Director/Curator, Summit Artspace Gallery. Also, check out the festival information booths for to get your limited edition fest shirt designed by Beachland Ballroom and Tavern graphic designer, Jon Hicks, and sold by Waterloo Arts’ board members and friends – with sales to benefit Waterloo Arts.
Waterloo Sculpture Garden
The Sculpture Garden will be hosting a Planter Decorating activity providing the first 250 children with a planter to personalize by drawing, coloring, or covering with stickers, and other provided art supplies. Children will also learn how to grow a plant in their new planter.
