Giant puppets, stilt dancers, costumed dancers, and visual artists – these larger than life characters will be roaming Waterloo and interacting with attendees between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Entertaining and mesmerizing stiltwalking performance roaming Waterloo from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.

RW Magic
Crafting incredible memories, one feature at time, is just what RW Magic does. The art of magic is a timeless treasure, sure to enchant audiences of all ages! Roaming the festival grounds from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

Stardrop Circus
Freestyle aerial silk acrobats, stilt-walkers, and hoop dancers performing at the intersection of Waterloo Rd and E. 156th St from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s mobile art studio, Studio Go
The Cleveland Museum of Art’s mobile art studio, Studio Go, delivers hands-on art experiences to neighborhoods across Northeast Ohio. People of all ages can participate in art-making and art exploration activities that will spark curiosity and create deeper connections to the Cleveland Museum of Art’s world renowned collection.

Sketchbook Murals by Anthony Zart, Jeremy McVay, Scott Hudson/Rocket E3, and Miles Callahan/VanZandt Collective
Local artists share their sketchbooks on giant easels for festival goers to color in with DayGlo paint. Fun for all ages! Sketchbook Murals will be on the street from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Waterloo Arts Kids Zone

For the kids – and the young at heart – check out Mail Art, an Emoji Generator, Still Life Studio, Sketchbook Murals, Lego Land, Button Making, Japanese Fish Printing at these exploratory art stations.

Water Moose by Michael Gill
Michael Gill, Executive Director/Editor/Publisher of CAN Journal, has created an “exotic convolution of PVC and brass plumbing that will channel the full force and excitement of a (…) fire hydrant into a portable sprinkler park.” Having worked as an arts journalist, arts administrator, and as an individual artist, Michael was uniquely prepared to be co-founder of Collective Arts Network and founding editor/publisher of CAN Journal. His writing for publications including the National Endowment for the Humanities magazine (Humanities), Cleveland Magazine, the Cleveland Free Times, and Cleveland Scene has won multiple awards from the Press Club of Cleveland, including in the Best in Ohio: Essays category, in 2007. He has a BA in English from Hiram College and an MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Washington University. His wood block and letterpress artist books have been exhibited in solo shows at William Busta Gallery, Tregoning and Company, and BAYarts.

Located in the emerging art scene of the Waterloo art district, Framed Gallery is an exclusive African American art gallery in Cleveland. This gallery displays emerging, mid-career and established artists creating contemporary works on paper, paintings, graphite drawings and assemblage.

Denys Morgan will be leading the yoga classes throughout the day! Screen printing workshop will be running throughout the day in collaboration with MOCHA (Museum of Creative Human Art), participants will have the opportunity to create their own limited edition MOCHA x Pop Life t-shirt, the shirts will be $5. In addition to yoga classes and silk-screened t-shirts, Pop Life will be offering: free class passes, free juice samples, cool retail items for purchase and other fun giveaways. We will also be offering a special pre-opening promotion of unlimited classes for 30-days for $30 (credit card to be charged upon opening).

There will be a silk marbling station outside in front of Praxis during the fest! Try out a small sample, or purchase a scarf to marble for $40. Inside artists will be dyeing with Indigo.
