Annual Members Meeting – Tuesday, January 25

Dear Friends of Arts Collinwood:

The Annual Members Meeting of Arts Collinwood will take place on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Arts Collinwood Community Center.  At the annual meeting, elections will be held to fill vacant seats and expired terms for the Arts Collinwood Board of Trustees.

Arts Collinwood has been a mainstay of the Waterloo Road arts and entertainment district for seven years. Our community center, art gallery, the café hosts a wide variety of arts-related events and classes that are available to the public while simultaneously embracing the Collinwood community.  Through partnerships with local shops and galleries, we are working to establish Collinwood as a destination place for the visual arts, film, and music.

Serving on the Arts Collinwood Board of Trustees requires a commitment including:

  • Dedication to the mission of Arts Collinwood
  • Attending scheduled board meetings (typically held on the first Tuesday of each month)
  • Active involvement in at least one of our standing committees.
  • Participation in one or more board-approved fundraising activities and events including gallery openings, Waterloo Arts Fest, Weekends on Waterloo and other events as they are scheduled)

Serving as a board member of Arts Collinwood offers one the opportunity to nurture and support a recognized fine arts organization which provides programs for children and adults while encouraging economic growth in this historic and vibrant geographic area of Cleveland.

Please feel free to contact Bridget Caswell at bridget@bridgetcaswell.com to discuss how your time and talents can contribute to Arts Collinwood.  Visit our website at www.waterlooarts.org to learn more about us.
